Paul Scott is a Florida musician who primarily plays in Flagler and Volusia County. While Ormond Beach is his home, he can be found all along the coast at various venues singing his stories and bringing people together to have a good time. About Paul Scott and his music /
I started playing guitar my senior year in high school and continued playing while attending college in North Carolina. During my junior and senior years in college, I played twice a week at a local bar for no pay, but all the beer and pizza I wanted. Plus, the owner would pass the tip bucket twice during the night-not a bad gig for a college guy.

During my 42 year working career, I continued to play a little, but my music definitely took a back seat to family and business. Upon retirement in 2007, I decided I was going to get serious about my music and make it a priority. I have been playing in restaurants/bars the last several years and am blessed with a very loyal following of old and new friends.

I began writing songs a couple of years ago and have completed my first CD of just my songs.
Who knows what tomorrow may bring for me musically, but right now I am enjoying singing to my friends, young and old, and my family. One of my dear friends told me that what I am doing now is my "ministry"-that of bringing our old friends together that don't get to see each other very often or have lost touch with one another through the years-I think she may be right.
